Seminar on the Potential of the Fourth industrial Revolution in Africa - Auditorium HQ, Avenue Joseph Anoma

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, which uses data and digitization to create new markets, drive productivity and extend social welfare, is already upon us.  Africa is in a great position to play, both as a supplier of 4IR innovation and as an adopter. The continent benefits from a strong mix of connectivity infrastructures and a workforce that has largely grown up in a digital world.  However, it also faces challenges of social inclusion, ill-fitting policies and regulation, insufficient depth and breadth of digital infrastructure deployment and a shortage of key skills.  In a 4IR, Africa must make critical changes and investments to prepare for a future that is already here.
